A warm series of spring storms will affect our weather through the weekend.

Back to back storms will bring heavy rain and snow to the high Sierra and portions of Western Nevada through the weekend.

The first system moves through overnight Friday into Saturday morning... with another area of low pressure swinging in Saturday night into Sunday.

Snow levels will be high... 8000 feet lowering to 7000 feet. The highest elevations in the mountains could pick up a quick foot of snow.

Looking at the extended forecast... things seem to be drying out and warming up by late next week.
