A Spring storm brings strong winds along with rain and snow showers to Western Nevada.
A cut-off low spinning into the California coast will bring much cooler temperatures to the Truckee Meadows on Wednesday. We'll also see a chance for rain and snow. The snow levels will come to close to the valley floor first thing Wednesday morning.
The Lake Tahoe area could see several inches of snow above 7-thousand feet... with a few inches closer to lake level.
Any snow here on the valley floor will be light with very little in terms of accumulations... what does fall will be wet and heavy.
We've got another splitting system coming in late Thursday into Friday. Keeping us cool and unsettled through the end of the week.
A slight warm up is in the forecast for Easter Weekend... but temps will still be below average for this time of year.
