Hi There-

After a sunny, warm start to spring on Friday... we'll see a return to winter weather for the weekend.

A fast moving winter storm will bring strong winds and snow to the Sierra Saturday night into Sunday. The higher elevations around Lake Tahoe could see more than a foot of snow.

And as strong cold front moves through Northern Nevada... snow levels will drop down to the valley floor. A quick inch or so of snow in the Reno/Sparks and Carson City areas is posibble early Sunday morning.

This storm will move quickly out of area by late Sunday. But it will leave behind much colder air in its wake. Highs Sunday will be in the Mid Forties. A twenty degree plus drop from Fridays highs in the 70's.

If you're a skier or boarder enjoy the snow. Sun lovers hold out hope for milder temps by next week.
