Sunny skies and mild temperatures will carry us through the work week.

A massive ridge of high pressure has set up along the West Coast... sending the jet stream way to the north.

While the weather is pleasant enough, it's terrible news for the Sierra snowpack. Each passing days sees the percentages drop.

There are some indications of a pattern change the week of January 19th. But as of right now... no major storms on the horizon.

For the forseable future expect cold morning starts... with sunny skies and temps around ten degrees above average for afternoon highs.
