Hi There-

Quiet weather as we make our way towards 2009.

The storm track has retreated to the north... with the polar front jetstream taking dead aim at the Pacific Northwest.

That means and end to the heavy precip we saw for Christmas. We'll see temperatures right at around average for this time of year. With just the tail end of systems brushing by Northern Nevada our chances for precipitation pretty much non existant through New Year's day.

By the weekend we're looking at an area of low pressure moving into our area... once again putting precip back in the forecast. Right now this does not appear to be major winter storm... but we'll keep our eyes on those computer models.
