RENO - KUsports.com is reporting that Royce Woolridge will make an official visit to Nevada in the coming weeks.

Woolridge played his freshman year at Kansas before deciding to transfer this offseason. The 6'3" guard averaged 0.6 points and 0.6 rebounds in limited minutes.

He was a star at Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix, averaging 30.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists his senior season.

Woolridge will make five official visits, including trips to both Utah and Washington State.

He's got quite a pedigree. Woolridge is the son of former NBA star Orlando Woolridge. And his great uncle is Hall of Famer Willis Reed.

Woolridge will have to sit out the entire 2011-12 season due to transfer rules. He will have three years of eligibility left to play college basketball.
