RENO - Former Wolf Pack tight end Virgil Green was back in Reno on Friday to sign some rookie trading cards.

Green met with an Upper Deck representative to autograph 122 cards, including some from a special series that will be put inside random packs.

He was selected in the 7th round of the NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. He was a first team All-WAC selection his senior year at Nevada.

Green is due to fly to Denver this weekend in hopes the lockout will be lifted next week. He's been working out on his own this summer to prepare for the NFL. He should compete for playing time right away, especially on special teams.
