Between seven straight wins and the top rushing attack in the nation, the Nevada Wolf Pack has risen to the top of the Western Athletic Conference standings. And the rest of the nation is taking notice.

The Wolf Pack picked up one vote in the latest Associated Press rankings and six votes in the USA Today/Coaches' poll.

Nevada (7-3, 6-0) heads to Las Cruces for a meeting with New Mexico State on Saturday at 7:30 pm. If the Wolf Pack beats the Aggies and No. 6 Boise State wins at Utah State. Nevada's November 27 meeting with the Broncos (10-0, 5-0) would determine the WAC champion.
