Wolf Pack Soccer Comes Back To Beat New Mexico State
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Cristen Drummond scored the game-winning goal in the 105th minute as the University of Nevada soccer team beat New Mexico State Friday night in Las Cruces, N.M.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Cristen Drummond scored the game-winning goal in the 105th minute as the University of Nevada soccer team beat New Mexico State Friday night in Las Cruces, N.M.

With the win Nevada improved to 7-11 overall and 4-3 in the WAC while New Mexico State fell to 9-7-1 and 4-2-1 in the WAC.

The goal, Drummond’s first of the year, was an unassisted goal as she scored on a breakaway down the right side of the field.

Keeper Marie Cove recorded the shutout for Nevada and made seven saves in the win while Katie Graul made six saves in goal for New Mexico State.

The Pack and Aggies each recorded 12 shots in the match. Drummond took a team-high four shots for Nevada.

Nevada will play its last regular-season game at home on Sunday hosting LA Tech at 1 p.m. The match is Senior Day and admission is free for all fans.
