Marko Mitchell signed a contract with the Washington Redskins on Saturday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mitchell was a compensatory pick in the 7th round of this year's NFL draft; number 243 overall.
The Redskins also released WR James Thrash. Mitchell is one of the top candidates to fill the Redskins 5th receiver spot.
He was an All-WAC selection his senior season at Nevada. Mitchell led the Wolf Pack with 61 receptions for 1,141 yards and 10 TD's
