Nevada Qualifies Five for Preliminary Round

Nevada Sweeps San Jose State on Senior Day

The win was the 30th of the season for the Pack and the 10th WAC victory which keeps them atop the conference standings.

Nevada Baseball Beats San Jose State
Last Updated: 5:54 PM 05/12/12 - University of Nevada (29-21, 9-5 WAC) junior Tom Jameson struggled early but pitched into the ninth inning as the Wolf Pack defeated San Jose State (21-24, 5-9 WAC) in game two of a Western Athletic Conference series at Peccole Park Saturday afternoon. With the victory the Pack stand alone atop the WAC standings at 9-5. The Spartans are 5-9 in conference play and 21-24 overall.
