Snow levels will fall to 5000' Thursday morning. In the Sierra, 12-18" of snow is expected above 7000', with 3-6" possible at lake level. Valleys will see some rain and snow, but little if any accumulation. Storm #2 will move through on Friday, with more Sierra snow possible, and valley rain and snow showers.
