To day could end up to be the best day of the week. Not to say the others are bad but we will see more wind and cooler temperatures in the forecast.

Cloudy, windy and rain showers ahead for Friday. A powerful winter storm is coming in which will bring feet of snow to the Sierra. A strong cold front will also bring the snow level down to the valley floor early Saturday morning.
Heavy mountain snow along the Sierra Crest into Wednesday morning. Mild temperatures here on the valley floor will bring a chance for rain showers.
