LAS VEGAS (AP) - Troopers say wet conditions and windy weather caused a tractor-trailer to rollover on Interstate 15 south of Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon.

Trooper Jeremie Elliott says the driver was uninjured but was trapped in the truck after it flipped near the St. Rose Parkway.

Elliott says the driver gave troopers a thumbs-up as they cleared him from the truck.

Officials say the tractor-trailer was driving too fast for slick conditions and overturned after a strong wind gust.

The accident temporarily blocked traffic in the areas but the Nevada Highway Patrol cleared the scene by late Saturday afternoon.
