As of 5pm this Saturday afternoon good weather news, the Flash Flood Watch has been dropped by the Reno NWS.
Big concern was the Washoe Drive Fire burn area. Lake Tahoe has risen 2 inches in the last 24 hours! 3.5 inches on the west side of the lake and the east side of Tahoe has recieved 1.5 inches of rain.
Snow will be at lake level by later tonight. Breezy evening with the third in a series of storms to arrive Sunday afternoon. A winter storm watch for Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. Monday morning commute may see slick roads.
US 395 South is open, but travel may be slow.
