RENO, NV - We have lots of heat on the way for the first day of summer. Typically we hit the mid 80°s on the first day of summer. Today will be in the mid 90°s. Along with the heat we see very little wind.
A storm system will be getting closer as we head towards the weekend. That storm will do two things. We will have gusty conditions every afternoon/evening Thursday/Monday, and we will see a significant drop in our high temperatures.
The Truckee Meadows should stay dry, but our viewers in NE California could see a shower or two Friday.
