RENO, NV - Wednesday will bring the return of partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures, but with plenty of moisture in place (soils and the atmosphere), afternoon thunderstorms will pop up in the heat of the day. A similar pattern will persist on Thursday. Temperatures will slowly warm over the next few days, back into the 90s for valley floors by the weekend. Another closed low will drop down the coast by then, and its track is uncertain at this time. It could easily bring more showers and thunderstorms and cooler weather, depending on where it develops and moves. -Jeff
