RENO, NV - Cooler, unsettled weather will stay with us through Wednesday evening, as an area of low pressure slowly moves through the Great Basin. Showers, and a few thunderstorms, will be likely Wednesday, with most activity developing in the afternoon-evening hours. By Thursday, high pressure will build back onto the West Coast, bringing drier, warmer weather for the start of the holiday weekend. A trough in the Pacific Northwest will not be close enough to bring clouds or rain by Memorial Day, but it will bring the wind back into the picture Monday and Tuesday. -Jeff
