Today we will see a new record high with Reno reaching 76°. In addition to the warm conditions we will see sunshine and very little wind.
A cold and windy storm starts moving in as we get into Wednesday night. The wind will be strongest Thursday with ridge top gusts up to 100mph and 40mph in Reno.
We will also see a chance for rain showers switching to snow Thursday afternoon to Friday morning. Temperatures will be cold enough Friday morning for a little snow to stick. The Friday morning commute will be the highest risk of being a bit slick.
Through this storm and after it has passed, temperatures will be falling. By Saturday afternoon we will see high temperatures only in the 30°s.
