Extreme Weather - May 10

A tornado touched down in the town of Grand Isle, Louisiana yesterday. The storm damaged at least seven homes and tossed around vehicles and trailers. The tornado also knocked out power to many residents, but the electric company was able to get it back on withing a few hours.

There was a little bit of everything yesterday, for weather watchers in Phoenix. A spring storm blew through the city bringing wind, dust, hail and rain. The storm damaged at least one mobile home but no injuries were reported.

A Hawaiian daredevil surfer survived what is considered to be the wold's biggest wave surfed. The Hawaiian big wave rider caught the 90-foot monster off the coast of Portugal.
