Thursday Daybreak Web Weather

A very slow moving cold front is approaching from the north and west. Ahead of the front we are experiencing some wind today in Reno. Luckily it is a warm wind with temperatures well into the 60°s this afternoon.

In the Sierra, especially north of Lake Tahoe, we will see a few showers. That wet weather will increase a bit this afternoon but should stay away from the valley floor here in western Nevada.

Cooler air starts moving in tomorrow. It isn't a big cold snap but we might see enough cold air to squeeze out a few snow showers in the Truckee Meadows Monday morning.
