RENO, NV - Evening thundershowers will wind down quickly overnight, with partial clearing. As the area of low pressure that brought all of the rain pulls out of the region, skies will be partly cloudy Thursday, with only a slight chance of a thunderstorm south of Highway 50. High pressure will build back onto the West Coast, bringing drier, warmer weather for the start of the holiday weekend. A trough in the Pacific Northwest will not be close enough to bring clouds or rain by Memorial Day, but it will bring the wind back into the picture Monday through Wednesday. -Jeff
