High pressure is setting up to our north and west. This is a similar scenario to what was happening earlier this month, and what has kept Reno dry for the entire month of December so far.
High pressure also keeps sinking air above us. This sinking air allows the pollution from the city to stay very near the surface. As a result we could see air quality diminish as we get into the weekend.
