Thanskgiving Weather Could Mean Slick Roads for Travel

RENO, NV - Potentially slick roads in the mountains will face travelers on Thanksgiving.

On Tuesday partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures with highs in the low fifties.

We'll see an increase in the winds on Wednesday afternoon... as a splitting storm system works it's way towards the Sierra.

While the models continue to show this storm losing some of its punch... it will produce enough snow to pose travel concerns on mountain passes during the day on Thursday.

Things settle down a bit Friday and Saturday... with another weak system heading in on Sunday.
