RENO, NV - As the high pressure ridge that brought the heat starts to break down and shift east, expect more wind and a slow cool-down over the weekend. Much cooler temperatures will arrive Monday, as a cold front slices through the region and a cold, upper low spins into the Great Basin. Clouds and wind, along with a chance of showers and thundershowers, are in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday. As the area of low pressure pulls out, quieter and warmer conditions will return for the latter half of the week. -Jeff
