RENO, NV - A stormy pattern will be with us through the weekend as a series of storms pushes onto the west coast. A warm, wet, subtropical plume will quickly raise snow levels Saturday. During this transition, valley locations will see a windy period, with damaging wind possible in wind-prone areas. High precipitation amounts and snow levels will follow and continue through Sunday, with snow levels falling below major Sierra passes by early Monday. -Jeff
