RENO, NV - We will slowly warm up as we get into the end of the weekend. If you are deciding which day to spend out doors this weekend, pick Saturday. By Sunday we will see wind gusts up to 40mph in Reno and 50mph in more wind prone areas. The wind will increase our fire danger.

By Monday our temperatures take a big drop. Monday morning could bring a few light snow showers. It doesn't look like a big storm, but just two or three flakes would be the most significant wet weather we have seen in a month and a half.

By the middle and end of next week it looks like we should see more moisture moving on shore. The Sierra Nevada will see at least some light snow but we might have to wait until next weekend to see anything significant on the valley floor.
