RENO, NV - The trough that brought the clouds and cooler air will quickly exit the region overnight. In its wake, zonal flow will allow a slow warming trend for Friday and Saturday, with sunny skies and breezy afternoons. A strong high-pressure ridge will build over the region by the end of the weekend, bringing the hottest temperatures of the year so far to western Nevada. Three days with triple-digit highs are a strong possibility for Reno to start the work week. -Jeff
