RENO, NV - Red Flag Warning for extreme fire weather danger (combination of wind and low relative humidity) in effect Friday for the Sierra Front from 2-9 PM... A dry, southwesterly flow will continue to dominate the weather pattern for the next few days. That means warm, dry weather, with breezy afternoons-evenings. With low relative humidity and the higher wind on Friday afternoon, a Red Flag Warning is in effect for extreme fire weather danger. Be careful out there. Thunderstorm-wise, there are no strong triggers for convection until late next week, when a trough will drop into the region. The track and impact of that change are still uncertain, so stay tuned! -Jeff
