RENO, NV - Clouds will increase overnight, ahead of a sharp cold front. This storm will push through the area on Friday, bringing Sierra snow and valley rain and snow showers. Wind will stay breezy through evening Friday. While much of the snow will fall during daylight hours, which will limit accumulations, snow falling early and late in the day will likely bring controls to the passes. The weekend will start cool and showery early Saturday, but will warm back close to average by Sunday under partly to mostly cloudy skies. -Jeff
