There is just a little smoke in the air today. Most of the smoke is now lingering to the north of the Truckee Meadows.
It is another hot day with temperatures topping out in the mid 90°s. Temperatures will slowly cool down through the weekend. Smoke shouldn't be a huge concern as each afternoon some wind gusts will help clean air push out the smoke.
The kids are back to school Monday. A light coat could be needed Monday morning at the bus stop.
