Friday Daybreak Web Weather

Smoke caused haze will continue to linger over the valley floor today until afternoon storms start popping up. Those storms cause some breezes that mix in fresh air with the smoke. So this afternoon promises to be less smokey than the early hours.

Storms will be a bit hit and miss this afternoon but each individual storm contains plenty of moisture. As a result, not everyone will see the rain but those who do could see a period of heavy rain as the storms pass.

Again Saturday afternoon we will see some wet weather. The Truckee Meadows looks rain free by Sunday.
