The floodwaters are receding in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. But the damage is already done. Unseasonably warm weather triggered ice jams along the St. John River, causing all the flooding. Officials in New Brunswick say there will be an aid program for victims who were flooded out of their homes.
It still looks like winter in parts of North Carolina. The western part of the state got hit by hail, and snow this weekend leaving a thick layer on horse pastures.
Heavy rain triggered traffic accidents and caused damage yesterday across Southern California. Officials shut down roads and businesses closed briefly because of the standing water. Locals had to get sandbags to keep the water out. The early-spring storm also dumped fresh snow in the local mountains.
