FIRST ALERT Winter Storm Warning in Effect

FIRST ALERT....A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect for the Reno/Sparks area starting at 1am. A winter storm warning is currently in effect for the Lake Tahoe Basin till 4pm Monday.

Snow will begin about 1am Monday on valley floor locations and last until about 10am. Amounts of 2" to 6" are possible!
Driving conditions for the morning commute look to be very hazardous at this time.

Snow above 7,000' will be 15-30 inches. Roads controls by early morning for all mountain passes. This is a fast moving cold snow storm.
