The tropical paradise of Fiji is not quite so lovely these days. Heavy rain is forcing tourists and locals alike to leave low-lying areas as the flood waters grow higher and higher. Fiji is under a state of emergency.
Switzerland saw another eight inches of fresh snow yesterday. Add that to what is already on the ground and it is the most snow they've seen in years.
At eye level the tornado damage in the deep south is bad. It is even uglier from the sky in Jefferson Co, Alabama. You can see homes and uprooted trees for miles. The EF-3 tornado killed two people Monday.
