Reno isn't the only one with no snow. Yosemite national park is staying open longer this year because the roads are clear. Some years, highway 120 through the park has been closed because of snow between November and May. Yosemite has not stayed open this long since the 1930's.

A tornado may have caused damage last night in western North Carolina. Strong winds blew apart homes and several people got trapped in the rubble. At least ten people were injured. The National Weather Service is working to confirm tornadoes touched down.

Several inches of snow and dropping temperatures caused several accidents in the Denver metro area yesterday. The snowfall hit during the height of the morning commute causing several fender-benders. Most of the injuries were minor.
