Extreme Weather

A winter snowstorm is making its way across Europe this morning. Yesterday it dumped record amounts in southern and central Poland. It caused quite a few accidents on the roads but luckily no serious injuries have been reported.

The weather hasn't been kind to the people in Brazil. Days of heavy rain and flooding have killed dozens of people. More than 100 cities are under a state of emergency after the rains turned roads and hills into mud filled river ways. It is feared several other people can be buried under the mud.

The big cleanup is underway in Texas after a tornado with winds clocked at 96mph blew through Fort Bend County on Monday. The twister tore off roofs and downing power lines. Even though at least ten homes were damaged, no one was seriously injured.
