Extreme Weather

In Oklahoma there is nothing to stop the wind. Blizzard conditions are making a mess of road in the state's panhandle. The storm is officials to shut down many roads while crews work to put salt on slick highways.

The first day of winter brought a snowstorm to parts of Colorado. The Denver area was hit hard last night. The snow started light but fell at rates of up to two inches per hour. Denver could get up to a foot of snow.

In New Hampshire the roads were sheets of ice during Wednesday's commute. A school bus packed with children slid off the road but fortunately no one was hurt.
