Extreme Weather - March 20

Massive flooding continues in parts of New Zealand this morning where entire farms have been wiped out. Homeowners are doing their best trying to hold back the flood waters. The extend of the damage won't be known until the waters fully subside.

There is a reason why we are told never to drive through standing water. A driver was stuck in Tulsa Oklahoma was caught after a heavy downpour. It takes just two feet of water to carry away a vehicle.

Today is the first full day of spring. The vernal equinox occurred last night. An equinox happens when the sun is directly above the equator. The vernal equinox begins the spring season in the northern hemisphere.
