Golf-ball sized hail pounded homes breaking windows, denting cars and damaging roofs. IN addition to the ice more than five inches of rain reportedly came down in around two hours. One homeowner said the storm sounded like fireworks.
Storms rolled in quickly in Illinois this week. Wind became violent, knocking over trees, moving a car and even pulling pieces of a roof off of a house. The security cameras outside this house on Dixie Lane in the town of Liberty show the powerful tornado taking down everything it is path.
