Extreme Weather

Parts of California have been dealing with severe weather for the past two days. A tornado touched down in the inland empire just after four o'clock Sunday afternoon.

Also in California fire fighters are battling two wildfires. The Wyd fire was grown to three thousand acres and could threaten a 350 home community.

The Perseid Meteor Shower can be seen tonight from a special location. Squaw is hosting a camp out tonight at 8200 feet. Campers can take the aerial tram between 4:20 and 5:20pm. There will be an informational briefing on telescopes with meteor shower viewing beginning at 10pm. $79 for adults $54 for kids.
