Carson Flood Advisory

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - An urban and small stream advisory is
abating in Carson City and Douglas County following rainfall of up
to 1½ inches overnight.

The National Weather Service says high water in creeks and
streams was expected to decrease Monday morning after gushing out
of the Pine Nut Mountains in eastern Douglas County.

The Nevada Appeal reports Sierra Creek in the Genoa area is
running higher than average but isn't spilling over its banks.

The East Fork of the Carson River at Gardnerville rose, but was
still below action stage.
