RENO, Nev. (AP) - A month into spring, snow is still falling in parts of northern Nevada and the Sierra.
The storm dumped about eight inches of snow over night in Incline Village at Lake Tahoe. Five inches of snow was reported at South Lake Tahoe and four inches in the valley at Minden. Carson City checked in with two inches.
Sparks got an inch or two of snow in the foothills while Reno had mostly rain, better than a half inch at the airport.
The National Weather Service says the wet weather is expected to continue through Thursday afternoon but sunny skies are in the forecast in Reno on Friday with temperatures warming into the 70s by the weekend.
