RENO, NV - After two straight days of highs in the 80’s we’re seeing temperatures plummet into the 40’s for Tuesday and Wednesday.
The strong winds ahead of the slow moving spring storm are expected to die down throughout the day as the temperatures drop. The snow line will drop down to the valley floor, but the ground is too warm for there to be any accumulation, however the high sierra could see up to a foot of snow.
Wednesday will be breezy and cold, with a chance for rain showers with a little bit of snow mixed in.
The rest of the week will see a return to mild, sunny temperatures, with high 60’s forecasted for the weekend.
