Saturday Web Weather

Quiet, mild weather is in the forecast through the holiday weekend. A more active weather pattern will arrive next week. System #1 will track into the Pacific Northwest on Tuesday. This will bring some wind and showers, mainly north of I-80, to the area. Expect snow levels to stay on the high side, above Lake Tahoe level. System #2 will sag into the region on Thursday, followed by a fast moving trough on Friday. This will be a stronger system, but the details are a bit hazy. At this time, most of the rain and snow will push inland north of our area, tapering to showers as the cold air arrives. This is subject to change, but either way, a return of windy, wet, and colder weather is likely. -Jeff
