Wednesday Web Weather

A warmer, windy, wet storm will move through the region on Wednesday and Thursday. This system will bring a good dose of moisture, with very heavy snow likely on the passes. It will not be all that cold, with snow levels dipping to Lake Tahoe level Thursday morning as the heaviest precipitation winds down. Very gusty wind will develop ahead of this storm, especially on the Sierra Front. Damage is possible, along with power outages and flight delays. After a chilly Friday, temperatures will slowly warm over the weekend. Another chance of rain and snow will come our way early next week. -Jeff

Friday Web Weather

Showers and a few T-storms will persist overnight and then increase in coverage through Friday and Saturday at times. Drier, warmer weather will start to move in on Sunday, followed by a quiet Memorial Day this year. Keep the umbrella handy. -Jeff
