Very warm, dry weather will continue through Thursday, with sunny mornings and partly cloudy afternoons. An isolated shower/T-storm is possible south of Highway 50, mainly in the mountains. A trough of low pressure will deepen along the coast by the end of the week, and then move into the region for the weekend. This transition will bring increasing wind and fire danger on Thursday and Friday, and much cooler weather by Saturday. Showers are possible in the cool, unstable conditions by the end of the weekend and into early next week, although activity looks scattered to isolated. -Jeff
