Reno Old Town Mall
Senior Fest returns to Reno Town Mall, Sept.2, from 9-2 pm. Senior Fest, in its 19 year, is a one stop shop event to senior services, businesses, and organizations.
Over 55 businesses and organizations will provide resources and information on services that assist seniors to live independently. People who attend Senior Fest do so to connect to providers in the community that offer materials on caregiving, Medicare, Social Security, health care and a variety of services that promote healthy aging.
Boomers who are uninsured and underinsured can take part in health screenings offered by Senior Care Plus and Renown health beginning at 8 a.m. for early birds. Health screenings will be also provided regardless of a person insurance. Free flu and pneumonia shots will be available as long as supplies last.
There will also be a preview of the Eldorado’s Showroom entertainment “Spectra” coming in August. Erika Paul and the Swingin Jazzkats will entertain with jazz classics.
Free parking is available at the mall and Atlantis Parking Lot. There will be shuttle service provided by Lakeside Manor and The Arbors Memory Care Community.
