Anne Cutler brings enthusiasm and experience as the new face of KOLO 8 Daybreak.
Born in the Sacramento area, Anne spent many weekends in Reno and Tahoe for family vacations, Girl Scout trips and dance competitions as a child. Anne attended college at UCLA, where she studied Political Science, Mass Communications and French, while interning at KTLA, KABC and KNBC. She was also actively involved in different on-campus newscasts and is a proud alumna of Alpha Phi.
After college, Anne explored the world of sports, working in the broadcast department for the Sacramento Kings basketball team. Anne says watching practice, getting to know the players and working games were her favorite parts of the job!
Anne comes to KOLO 8 from Casper, Wyoming, where she was an evening anchor for KCWY News 13 at 6:00 and 10:00, while also reporting and producing on a regular basis. Although moving to a small town was a shock, it was a great opportunity to develop her skills and play an integral role in the community.
During her spare time, Anne likes to spend time with her two beagles, her boyfriend Joey and family, who still live in the Sacramento area. She is also a fan of interior design, dance, running, painting, good food and watching a great game on TV! If you have any comments, suggestions or news tips for Anne, please email her at anne.cutler@kolotv.com.
