Daniel joins KOLO after spending the past eight months in Bend, Oregon. There, Daniel's titles included anchor; general assignment reporter; sports reporter; writer; editor and photographer. He even ran a mean teleprompter when needed!
He began seriously studying journalism when he attended the Institute for Television Radio and Film Production at Boston University when he was seventeen. Daniel went on to enroll in BU's College of Communications and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003. He also got some valuable experience by performing as the school's mascot "Rhett" for three years.
Daniel was an anchor and reporter at NewTV in Newton, Massachusetts in 2003. He went on to intern at WHDH (NBC) in Boston and benefitted greatly from a two year stint as a production assistant and sports producer at KGO (ABC) in San Francisco.
The Bay Area native is an avid sports fan and loves swimming, writing and watching Oakland A's baseball in his free time. He is thrilled to be covering one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
